› What is a forex deposit bonus?
A deposit bonus is extra trading funds a broker adds when you fund your account — for example a 100% bonus doubles your deposit. In most cases the bonus is tradable credit that supports your margin rather than cash you can immediately withdraw.
› Can you withdraw a forex deposit bonus?
Usually not directly. The most common structure is non-withdrawable "tradable credit": you can trade with it and withdraw the profits you make, but the bonus amount itself is removed when you withdraw your own funds. A minority of offers credit real, withdrawable cash. Always check the offer’s withdrawable status before claiming.
› What's the catch with a 100% or 200% deposit bonus?
The headline percentage is rarely the real value. The catch is the turnover requirement — the trading volume you must complete before profits (or the bonus) can be released — plus whether the bonus is withdrawable at all. A large bonus with a turnover you cannot realistically clear is worth less than a small bonus you can.
› Why can traders in the EU, UK or Australia not get these bonuses?
