› How long does it take to clear a forex bonus?
Divide the turnover requirement (in lots) by how many lots you actually trade per week. The result is how many weeks of trading it takes — and you must finish before the bonus expiry window closes, or the bonus (and sometimes the profit tied to it) is forfeited.
› What if I can’t clear the turnover in time?
Most brokers cancel an uncleared bonus and any linked credit when the time limit passes. The danger is over-trading to beat the clock — taking trades you wouldn’t otherwise, where the spread and risk cost more than the bonus is worth. If the deadline isn’t realistic at your normal pace, the honest answer is the bonus isn’t worth chasing.
